Ultra Tool’s state-of-the art fiber laser technology makes the fabrication process accurate, flexible and cost efficient. It allows us to quote a job at a lower price than a typical stamped part because of lower operating costs, lower maintenance costs and no tooling costs. Laser has a lower operating cost than CO2 because it requires no laser gases and it uses less power. And fiber laser equipment requires less maintenance than CO2 because there is no resonator to rebuild and only one mirror.

In addition, our fiber laser technology gives us the flexibility to make low volume production parts in a variety of materials and thicknesses, all while maintaining quality and consistency. We can cut all metals – copper, brass, aluminum, steel and stainless – and the laser’s consistent beam quality means repeatable results from start to finish.
